Three Christmas Carol Accompaniments

BellPrint.com has just added a very practical and flexible collection of handbell accompaniments for Christmas Carols! Three carols are included in the collection with versions for 2, 3, 4, and 5 octaves: “O Come, All Ye Faithful”, “Angels We Have Heard on High”, and “Joy to the World”. These arrangements are intended to be played with the organ or piano to accompany congregational singing at your Christmas services but they also can be played alone to accompany a smaller group of singers, such as for leading caroling at a senior center. These arrangements use the traditional harmonizations of the carols, which are included in the score.  As a bonus, an optional Bell Peal introduction is included for “Joy to the World.”  I originally wrote these pieces over the course of many years, so that when my handbell choir was performing a prelude or offering at worship they could also play along on one of the Christmas carols in the service. Since many of us experience changes in the size of our handbell choirs from year to year, you will appreciate the fact that so many different ranges are included in one package! You will get plenty of use out of these arrangements!
