This will surely become one of your choirs’ favorite Christmas Carol arrangements for handbells. This fun Christmas carol arrangement has two compatible versions, one for 3 Octaves of handbells and one for 5 Octaves. It was originally written for a youth choir. It is straightforward, but uses some fun techniques, such as martellato, mallets, and echo rings. This is also a useful arrangement for when you don’t have quite enough ringers for the standard handbell assignments. The 3 Octave arrangement can be played by 10 ringers (one ringer can cover the C4, D4, and F4) and the 5 Octave arrangement can be played by 11 ringers with one ringer playing the three lowest bass notes.
